The Manifold Atlas is a wiki where registered users can create new pages, add to or edit existing pages and write on the parallel discussion pages. This page orients new authors to essential information about writing.

1 Getting started

The quickest way to get started runs as follows.

  • First browse the page writing style to learn about the scientific aspects of writing in the Atlas.


2 Your user page

We ask each registered user to create their user page: having logged in, simply click the red link with your user name at the top of page. Your user page need only contain some form of current contact information: a current email or work address or a link to your homepage.

  • The user rights in the Manifold Atlas are described here.
  • You can adjust the preferences for your account by clicking the my preferences link at the top of the page.
